Wow, this story is a really beautiful one (and yet a bit sad). It's about a poor man who was given charity once. And since then, he's worked his way to a fortune and now gives back to people anonymously. But he's revealed himself now to help spread the idea since he's likely to die of cancer soon.

Awesome story about a blind kid who is pretty much able to navigate with his other senses.

Bill Shannon is a guy who at a young age was diagnosed with a disease which messed up his hips. So he's been on crutches for almost all of his life. But... he didn't let it get him down. In fact some of the things he's capable of are just amazing. (Youtube/Flash video).

This is a good article about why America is cool. :) Written by an Indian immigrant. Reading some of the stuff makes me realize there are a bunch of things I did take for granted, which is pretty nifty, but I think a lot of Western countries are like that.

This is a cool story just because the way the child's parents acted. Basically a 12 year old Palestinian boy was killed by Israeli police since they thought he had a real gun (it was a toy gun). The typical response would be to rage against the Israelis, yeah? But no, instead they donated organs to an Israeli hospital. Very classy.

This is a nice story. A 6 year old was found walking down the roads of Baton Rogue carrying a 5 month old baby and being followed by 5 other younger children. They were eventually reunited with their parents. Man, I can't believe how together the six year old was.

This is pretty cool. A fat guy decides he really doesn't like being fat. So he's taking a half a year of his life and going on one heck of a trip. He's planning on walking from coast to coast.

Embedded video of a kid with no arms in a swimming race. Basically, he kicks everyone's ass.

The video could be doctored but if it was they did a really good job of removing all of the splashing from the arms.

Or you're gonna pay! Flash video. Site is in Russian but just watch the video. It's probably fake though, but still funny. I mean she does it a little too perfectly...

This is one of those "feel good" stories that I liked. Yeah, it's sappy, that's the point!

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd." I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friend tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.

Patches is like the most bad ass horse ever. Seriously, I want a horse like Patches. Though I wouldn't have the room or the inclination to take care of his shit (literally). It's a 3.9 wmv video embedding into a web page.
