Kanye West's video for his song Stronger is chock full of Akira references. I'm not too sure how well rap goes with the Daft Punk hook but... it's interesting.

There was a hoax a few days ago about a countdown to the new Radiohead album. Yesterday, on the official Radiohead website, they put this page up so that you can download the new album on the 10th of October. No info as to filetype. But you can pay whatever you want for the downloaded album.

At the Virgin festival, the most entertaining new band was most definitely Enter Shikari, a band from London specializing in trancecore which I guess is a mix of trance and hardcore punk. Their show was really energetic and it was really entertaining to watch them dance. Their official page has some music videos. So does their myspace page. And their fan site has some video diaries from their recent North American tour.

Bobby McFerrin, of "Don't Worry, Be Happy" fame shows some of his impressive vocal talent. Video safe for work, site slightly fishy due to random images (thumbnail form).

Video from Spoon for their new song. The robot is pretty damn call. Apparently, he's named KeepOn. But make sure that you watch the end where they have a big robot danceoff.
Here's the video

So a guy on the internet posts his song Chocolate Rain on Youtube. It's... not very good, but kind of funny so people started parodying it. Some people from 4chan apparently hacked Youtube cuz one day, all the featured videos had to do with Chocolate Rain. So the creator got well known. So well known that he showed on Jimmy Kimmel and more importantly, caught the eye of John Mayer. Haha and here's a guy doing a cover of the parody.

Chromatone posted by bichen
The Chromatone is a new idea on keyboards, using the Janko keybaord. It has 312 keys rather than the normal 88 keys. Check out an explanation and some videos. It's pretty cool. If you need more videos of people using it, check out Yukihiro Kitazaki's Youtube page. He's a Japanese musician that uses it.

The Village Voice does a nice analysis of why Mims's "This is Why I'm Hot" has topped the Billboard and Itunes charts. And with diagrams!!

Music video. Such a classic.

I'm not sure it's right to mock this guy singing Amazing Grace at church. It's GOD AWFUL, but I'm not sure if the guy is mentally... slow. So I dunno. But man, he's terrible. Youtube video.

Apparently internet radio is having legal issues and corporations want to collect high radio fees, which would make AWESOME "stations" like Pandora disappear. Now, I'll have to admit I'm too lazy to do what they want done but hopefully some of you aren't so lazy.

Awesome, I love this song. And the french horn girls in the back seem to be having fun with the chorus.
