There was a hoax a few days ago about a countdown to the new Radiohead album. Yesterday, on the official Radiohead website, they put this page up so that you can download the new album on the 10th of October. No info as to filetype. But you can pay whatever you want for the downloaded album.
At the Virgin festival, the most entertaining new band was most definitely Enter Shikari, a band from London specializing in trancecore which I guess is a mix of trance and hardcore punk. Their show was really energetic and it was really entertaining to watch them dance. Their official page has some music videos. So does their myspace page. And their fan site has some video diaries from their recent North American tour.
So a guy on the internet posts his song Chocolate Rain on Youtube. It's... not very good, but kind of funny so people started parodying it. Some people from 4chan apparently hacked Youtube cuz one day, all the featured videos had to do with Chocolate Rain. So the creator got well known. So well known that he showed on Jimmy Kimmel and more importantly, caught the eye of John Mayer. Haha and here's a guy doing a cover of the parody.
Apparently internet radio is having legal issues and corporations want to collect high radio fees, which would make AWESOME "stations" like Pandora disappear. Now, I'll have to admit I'm too lazy to do what they want done but hopefully some of you aren't so lazy.
