Dude, tickets for the Fuji Rock festival are over $300 for the 3 day festival. That's really really expensive even for a festival. I think going to see that in Japan is off the table, unless Bing, you got a big ol' raise and can subsidize my ticket. The early bird tickets are still $270 but none of the bands have been decided yet.

Bonnaroo music festival. Happening in Manchester Tennessee, June 16-18. Very electic music festival. Radiohead is headlining with Death Cab for Cutie, Tom Petty, Beck, moe, Rusted Root, the Magic Numbers, among others. Tickets are $169 if you buy this Saturday online. Not a bad deal at all.

I'm seriously considering going. Who's in??!!!

BTW, might have to camp there.

So I posted a Numa Numa/Maiyahi parody featuring some guy. Now you get the cute girls version. The video is safe for work. The content on the site is debatable, as is the advertisments.

Emo interpretation of Fallout Boy's Sugar, We're Going Down. If you've heard the song, the lyrics are hard to understand so they subtitled it themselves (with words that sound right but aren't). Google Video (flash based).

Song Tapper posted by bichen
I haven't tried this but it sounds really cool. Song Tapper lets you tap out a song (as in tapping out the rhythm of the words) and it'll tell you what song it is. I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard it's pretty decent.

CamKaroke posted by bichen
Cam Karaoke features a guy with a web cam singing some popular songs. Yes, this guy can't sing so it's kind of a fun novelty thing to look at before you get bored. Personally though, I got bored after watching the first 20 seconds of 4 videos.

You Got Beef posted by bichen
If you ever wanted to see an amateur Vietnamese-American rap video called You Got Beef? here's your chance. Kinda funny though cuz when I first heard the title I thought it was going to be a video about hamburgers (ala the really old school Wendy's commercial "Where's the Beef?"). But nope, this is HARDCORE! I wanna be thuggy like them.

This guy has some pretty cool clips of him playing some good ol' Johan Sebastian Bach on his double guitar. It's pretty nifty. And if you can't figure it out, it's the top few movies.

Nizlopi, JCB posted by cacheng
Found another music video except this one is actually pretty cool. The song is by Nizlopi and is called "JCB". Pretty cool song and video.

I'm not sure if you've heard Daler Mehndi's Tunak Tunak Tun, but chances are you have. But here's a bunch of Indian kids at a party singing and dancing to Tunak Tunak Tun.

God of Guitar posted by bichen
One of the most important things to learn before you can become a God of Guitar you must learn the poses. Otherwise you'll forever remain a poser (no contradictory pun intended).

Band Failure posted by bichen
This Norweigan music star is putting on a show. The crowd doesn't seem that into it though. Then she jumps/falls off stage. Apparently, she popped her knee cap. But sadly enough no one really seems to care.

You might've seen some of JerryC's videos before. He's basically a Taiwanese guy that well, plays guitar. But he's pretty damn good. The one that's most popular is probably "Canon Rock".

This is a really cool concept. Basically you tell Pandora what musical artist or song you like and it'll give you a bunch of suggestions of songs/artists that you will probably like. Very cool if you want to widen your musical breadth.

So I guess Virgin Records made this image which has a bunch of references to music band names. For example, the flying eagles are "The Eagles". There's a whole bunch on there. And if you're curious that's a smaller version of the real thing which can be seen here. If you need some answers, a bunch of people contributed to this.
