Do you have Real audio movies but you don't want to install RealPlayer? What can you do about it? Windows media player doesn't play Real files (.RM, .RMV, .RA)! Well, you can use Real Alternative instead.
Another interesting choice is Core Media Player. I liked it a lot - it played everything I had perfectly. Windows Media messed up on a few of them (no sound). So I upgraded my Core Media Player, then set it as default, then found out my new version couldn't play half of my movie files! Wtf? So I dunno how much I could recommend it. :-/
Video Lan is pretty interesting too. It kinda sucks as a media player (skimpy on features) but it can play those unseekable movie files that the other players cannot.
